KLAD is the official sponsor for Relay for Life 2008. Relay for Life of Klamath County will be on July 25th & 26th at the OIT track.
A great way to become involved in Relay for Life is to purchase a Luminaria! These beautifully decorated bags are lighted with candles and placed around the OIT track the night of Relay, a symbol of hope for cancer survivors and a reminder of those who have perished from the disease. Right now, luminarias are 2 for the price of 1! That's 2 for $5!!!
If there is someone in your life - a friend, family member or loved one - who is or has battled with cancer, honor them or remember them with a Luminaria! Their name will be mentioned at Relay for Life as the luminaria's are lighted.
You can now purchase luminarias at KLAD. Just come to our offices, located at 4509 South Sixth Street - or the next time you win a prize and will be stopping by anyways, remember to get your luminaria then!
