"Radio is one of the coolest careers on the planet! I always joke that it beats “working for a living”. I have been in radio since 1995 and a DJ since I was 6. At that age, (back in the 70’s) I used to play my mom’s Elvis 45’s over an intercom in our house. I even did the news and weather. The only thing that would get me out of my make-shift studio was my mom’s macaroni and cheese!
I graduated from L.B.C.C. in 1995 and landed a job at “U.S. 101 Country” KZUS in my hometown of Toledo, Oregon. Later that year I moved to KWHT in Pendleton. (That Roundup is Wild!) I came to Klamath Falls on vacation in 1996 and liked it so much here I stayed. The countryside is picturesque and the people who live here are the finest around. The coolest part of my job is talking with listeners and taking requests. The listeners are what make this job so much fun! It is great to have a job that I can’t wait to get to every morning! Hobbies: Where do I start! I love music, the outdoors, camping, photography and videography. I’m a huge rail-fan and an engineer with “Over the Hill Live Steamers.” I also love astronomy, fishing, and making hay in the summertime.
